Pain or Pleasure?

I am kinda in the middle.  I don’t like the pain and work to avoid it, however, I enjoy pleasure and know how close I am to achieving all my dreams desire.  Lately, business has been a rollercoaster of ups and downs and sometimes upside down! 

People come and go so quickly at times and I do not take the time to connect with people who come in to them.  Why?  I am becoming more conscious of myself, my thinking ways, my emotions, my actions, my life.  Maybe I do not connect with a lot of people because in my past people have left me and probably left a sore spot here and there. 

Any who, being an entrepreneur is challenging.  Keeping focused, keeping myself accountable, and keeping productive.  Not having a boss for 3 years is GREAT!  Looking back, having a 40 hour a week job for 10 years of my life, having stability and security of a “job”, but having to bust my butt with no return but a paycheck was not rewarding. 

Recently I have been landing with the help of my business partner who “pimps” me out, a good number of clients to keep me busy creating jaw dropping presentations for their products or services they provide.  It has been providing an ongoing income stream, but it does take quite a bit of time and thought in front of a computer.  I am looking to take on some help real soon or out source some of the duties so I can better leverage my time. 

Life is a long journey with multiple stops along the way.  You can choose the direction and take the steps to get there.  How it ends is inevitably not up to you.  As you can see…this post is not focused and is just a snipit of what is going on in my life today!

Day 70-90….?

I didn’t make it the 90 days.  No excuses.

It was challenging making the 90 day commitment to blogging daily about myself and what I am doing.  Some days I’d have lots to talk about.  Some days not so much.  It was fun when I first started and as the days went by it became more of a chore than anything else.

Day 69 of the 90 Day Challenge!

Took it easy today.  Still in pain from the workout 2 days ago!  Went to go see a Christmas Carol with some friends.  The movie was nothing new other than really cool digital animation that look almost real.  The story is still the same.

Day 68 of the 90 Day Challenge!

Still in pain from the workout yesterday!  I feel like im paralyzed from the neck down and cannot move!  I have not been this sore since I was in bootcamp!  It shows that I am not in the best shape as I used to be!  It is a real eye opener to realize how out of condition I am!

Day 67 of the 90 Day Challenge!

Had a great turnout at C.L.U.B. Entrepreneur4 in Long Beach today with special guest speaker Don Hobbs!  Followed by a ass kicking workout by Mike and Amanda from First Step Fitness.  I never worked out so hard for nearly a decade!  I thought what I do on a daily basis was enough.  I’m hittin the hot tub tonight!

Day 66 of the 90 Day Challenge!

Had a QBO tonight.  Thats all on top of the last two days of indoor labor on my computer.  I am so thankful that my computer takes a lickin and keeps on ticking!  I dropped it two times within the last week and it still works!  I love my VAIO!  : )

Day 65 of the 90 Day Challenge!

Second verse, same as the first…

I spent the day doing the same thing yesterday!?  Wow!  Only 25 more days left of this 90 day challenge…I have went totally off track from my goals I set in the beginning.  I am going to the gym regularly so 1 out of 4 goals set is on track…That would be great if all four and by being conscious of the goals I set I know what I must do to keep myself accountable.  Read daily and do more RPA’s!!!

Day 64 of the 90 Day Challenge!

Worked all day on misc documents and training materials for upcoming events for QUEST, CLUB, Pivot Point, and College!   Getting slammed by everything all at once is not fun!  Not to mention trying to take on other side jobs that require the same amount of time!  Someone invent a cloning machine or a surrogate already!

Day 63 of the 90 Day Challenge!

Catching up is harder than staying on track!  Yes I have been late on some of my blog posts…sue me.  Having a blog is well for the lack of analogies, like paying bills!  If you forget one or two days not so bad…If you forget a few months, it’s gonna hurt trying to catch up! 

Today I went to the gym and dragged some of my friends with me this morning!  It was a bit challenging after the long weekend of events and Halloween of course, but nonetheless made it!  Preparing for the coming weeks events and Quattro College in December is only 40 days away!  Can you believe it? 

My friends went to the batting cages to hit some balls and let out some steam…I did not because I don’t have steam to let out.  Good thing I did not because I would have sore hands right now and not be able to type my blog! : )  ♦
